🏑 Preparations in full swing for the Spring Tournament at HC Demo
A major highlight is back on the calendar at HC Demo. On Saturday, April 18, the club will host its annual Spring Tournament—a sporty and social day where youth and senior teams from across the region compete.
The first matches kick off at 09:00 AM on HC Demo’s main field. Throughout the day, teams will battle it out in various pools for the coveted tournament trophy. For the youngest players, the focus is on fun and development, while the competitive spirit will be palpable among the older teams.
Tournament committee member Lisa van Dijk is looking forward to the event:
“The Spring Tournament is a wonderful moment for our club every year. It’s not just about winning; it’s mostly about playing hockey together and getting to know one another better.”
Beyond the matches, there’s plenty of room for socializing. Visitors can head to the clubhouse for snacks and drinks, there will be music along the sidelines, and fun activities are organized for the youth between games.
Volunteers are already hard at work with preparations. From creating match schedules to arranging referees and setting up the grounds—behind the scenes, everyone is hustling to make it a success.
Supporters, parents, and alumni are more than welcome to cheer on the teams. Entry is free, and everyone is invited to come and taste the atmosphere at HC Demo.
